left;\">Descripci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">El <a href=\"\/plantas\">ombligo de venus<\/a> es una planta perenne herb\u00e1cea, lampi\u00f1a (sin pelos), puede alcanzar los 15 cm de altura. Est\u00e1 provista de una cepa de la que surge un tallo erecto y simple. Las hojas tienen un contorno redondeado y el pec\u00edolo sale del centro del limbo, al menos en las hojas de la base, dando lugar a esa especie de hoyuelo que recuerda a un ombligo. Tanto las hojas como el tallo son carnosas. Poseen un c\u00e1liz diminuto. Su corola es tubulosa, angulosa, de color verdoso pero a menudo con algunas l\u00edneas purp\u00fareas. Florece en  primavera-verano. El fruto es un polifol\u00edculo con varias semillas pardas en su interior.\r\nSu distribuci\u00f3n es Mediterr\u00e1nea y Atl\u00e1ntica. Es comestible pero adem\u00e1s tiene un buen uso externo: las hojas se pueden usar para tratar peque\u00f1as heridas o llagas, as\u00ed como hemorroides y saba\u00f1ones. No hay m\u00e1s que quitarle la piel y aplicar directamente a modo de tirita.
