href=\"\/micologia\">Seta<\/a> con un sombrero al principio  semiesf\u00e9rico con el margen rodeando al pie y despu\u00e9s convexo. Puede llegar a los 25-30cm con un color marr\u00f3n claro, m\u00e1s oscuro en el centro y difuminado en los bordes donde termina con un ribete blanco. Su cut\u00edcula es ligeramente viscosa con tiempo h\u00famedo y su carne es blanca. Con la edad adopta consistencia esponjosa perdiendo firmeza.\r\nTiene himenio con tubos libres y largos, f\u00e1cilmente separables de la carne e inicialmente blancos, pasando a ser amarillos con la madurez y posteriormente verdosos sus poros son circulares del mismo color que los tubos. Su pie es grueso, muy panzudo (de joven puede superar el di\u00e1metro del sombrero), color algo m\u00e1s claro que el sombrero, amarillo blanquecino que va tornando a marr\u00f3n rojizo.
