En la Cantarela no se diferencian sombrero y pie, \u00e9ste es grueso cil\u00edndrico y carnoso, ensanchado arriba. Su carne es blanca amarilleando en los bordes, es compacta y algo fibrosa. Es muy dif\u00edcil de que se vea afectada por par\u00e1sitos.
